traveling italy: venice & rome
こんにちは！前回に引き続き、私が短大の友達と卒業旅行でヨーロッパに行ったことをシェアするね！ちなみに前回の記事はスペイン・バルセロナについて書いたけど読んでくれたかな？今回は、旅の続きのイタリアのベネチア・ローマ編を書くよ！どちらの都市にも４日間ずつ滞在したよ。
Hello! I'm gonna talk about my Europe trip with my friends from college as I talked about Barcelona, Spain in my last article. This time, I'm gonna talk about the days in Venice & Rome, Italy. We stayed for 4 days in each city.
Day 5
この日はスペインのほうでも書いたようにスペインとベネチアへの移動日だったよ！バルセロナからベネチアまでは、飛行機（ブエリング航空）で２時間くらいでした！ベネチアの本島までバスで一本で行けるメストレという都市にあるホテル「HOTEL CENTRALE」に泊まったよ。そこまでは、空港から送迎を頼んでいたので楽にたどり着けました！夕方にホテルに着いてから、周りを散歩したけど、街が閑散としていてすごく驚いた！夜ご飯は日本食が恋しくなって、ホテルの目の前にあった「I-SUSHI」というところで、€８のラーメンを食べたよ！
We flew from Barcelona to Venice and it took about two hours. We booked our hotel "Hotel Centrale" in Mestre which has a direct bus to the main island of Venice. We booked a car to pick us up at the airport to our hotel beforehand, so it was easy to get to our hotel without a problem. We arrived at the hotel afternoon and took a little walk around our hotel but the city was dead and empty. We had dinner at the restaurant "I-Sushi" which was in front of our hotel and had €8, a bowl of ramen.
Day 6
この日は、ベネチアの本島に行ったよ。風が強くてすごく寒かった！何をするっていうのは決めてなかったから、本島半分くらいぐるっと回って散策したよ。想像通りのベネチアの景色を堪能したよ。
We visited the main island of Venice. It was so windy and cold! We didn't decide what we were gonna do so we just walked around almost a half of the island and enjoyed the classic views of Venice.
オススメのバー/Favorite bar：”Frulala”
ここは、ホットスムージーやホットサングリアが置いてある立ち飲みバー！寒かったから立ち寄ったけど、楽しい店員さんだった！私はお酒飲めないけど、友達はホットサングリアを飲んでたよ！
It's a bar where you can enjoy hot smoothies and hot sangria! Because of the weather, we stopped by to warm up a little bit. Well, I can't drink alcohol but my friends were enjoying drinking hot sangria! And the people who works there were so nice!
Day 7
この日は、私たちの泊まっていたメストレにあるホテルの周りを散策したよ。メストレにはショッピング街とかあったり、スイーツやさんが多いのに、すごく閑散としてた。だけどメストレからはベネチアの本島までバス（お金の払い方わからなくて無料で行きました😅）で一本で行けて、ホテルも安くて、ベネチアに訪れたい人には、すごく便利な場所だよ。
We walked around Mestre where our hotel was. Mestre has a shopping mall, many bakeries like where you can buy sweets! However, the city was dead and empty like the day we arrived. I like Mestre tho! It's very convenient to get to the main island of Venice and the hotel was cheap so I recommend to stay in Mestre if you're planning to visit Venice.
オススメのカフェ / Favorite Cafe：”Hora Biasetto”
おいしいスイーツが食べたくて入ったんだけど、どれも美味しそうなケーキばっかりだった！私は、レモンケーキ？を食べたよ！
We were craving for sweeeeeets! They had so many selections of sweets and cakes! I picked the one with lemon.
オススメのお持ち帰りのお店 / Favorite Take-Out Store：”BAR GALLERIA”
主にサンドウィッチなどの軽食が売ってるよ。サンドウィッチはだいたい€１．８。
Mainly, you can get light meals like sandwiches and it costs €1.8!
Day 8
この日は、ベネチアの本島にある美術収集家のペギー・グッケンハイムが開いた美術館「PEGGY GUGGENHEIM COLLECTION」（学生 €９）に行ったよ。ピカソやダリなどのいろんな作品があって、見応えがある美術館だったからオススメ！
We visited a museum called "Peggy Guggenheim Collection" in the main island of Venice. It was €9 for student. There were the art of Picasso and Dali, and I enjoyed a lot walking around there.
この日、ベネチアには雪が降っててすごくいい景色だった。It was snowing in Venice and we enjoyed the lovely view with snow!
オススメのレストラン / Favorite Restaurant：”Al Vecio Forner Sas Di Numa E Righetti M&C.”
愉快な店員さんと美味しい料理で、すごく暖まれた◎！€１０でラザニアを食べた！The people who work there were fun and the food was SO good! I enjoyed being there. I had €10 lasagna.
オススメのジェラート屋さん / Favorite Gelato Place：”Gelateria Nico”
安くて種類も豊富ですごくおいしかったよ！この日は雪が降ってて一段と寒かったけど、イタリアのジェラートを味わってみたかったので、食べてみたよ◎
They had various flavours and they were all very reasonable price. I know I said that it was snowing in Venice but I needed to experience good Italian gelato!
Day 9
この日は、ベネチアからローマへの移動日だったよ！Trenitalia という電車で私たちのホテルがあったメストレ駅からローマのテルミニ駅までだいたい３時間半くらい！けど、この日も雪が降っていたりもして電車が遅れ、結局６時間くらいかかった！
Day 9 was the day we moved from Venice to Rome. We took train called Trenitalia from Mestre station where we stayed to Termini station in Rome. It usually takes about 3 hours but it was still snowing so it actually took 6 hours.
泊まったホテル（Hotel Three Star）の周りを散策して１日が終わったよ！（このホテルはあまりオススメしないよ！友達は、キャリーケースの中のお金を盗られてしまって、防犯カメラには私たちと清掃員しか映ってなかった。。。ホテルの人に言っても助けてくれなかった）
The hotel we stayed in Rome called Hotel Three Star, and we just walked around the hotel for after 6 hours train ride and chilled at the hotel. (I honestly don't recommend this hotel because my friend's money was stolen from her suitcase, and the hotel people didn't help us at all.)
Day 10
この日は、ローマの中にある世界最小の国、バチカン市国を訪れたよ。ローマ内の地下鉄でホテルの最寄りのテルミニ駅からレパント駅まで行き、サンタンジェロ城を通ってから、バチカン市国に向かいました！
We took Rome's metro from Termini station where we were staying to Lepanto station. And we walked to Castel Sant'Angelo and then, walked to Vatican City which is the smallest country in the world.
サン・ピエトロ大聖堂は、すごく行列だったよ。私たちは、行列には並ばず中には入らなかったけど十分パワーを感じれた！We visited St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City but there was LONG queue so we gave up and just walked around the country.
Day 11
この日は、ローマ散策！コロッセオに行こうと思ったんだけど、雨で断念。屋根のある真実の口を見に行ったよ！
We walked around Rome. We were going to Colosseum but it was raining so we changed the plan to visit Bocca della Verità aka The Mouth of Truth which we could still enjoyed Rome on a rainy day.
（写真撮る人が下手だから注意が必要！笑）There was a photographer there but maybe they can be horrible at it!
オススメのレストラン / Favorite Restaurant：”Trattoria Valentino”
ローマ発祥の€９．５でカルボナーラを食べたよ！デザートも美味しくて、とってもオススメだよ！ここは、コロッセオから歩いて１０分くらい！
I enjoyed Carbonara which is originally from Rome, for €9.5. They had amazing dessert too! This place was 10 minutes from Colosseum by walking.
Day 12
この日は、定番のローマ観光スポットを訪れたよ。コロッセオにリベンジしたよ！コロッセオは、月の第１日曜日は無料で公開されていて、少し並んだけどとても運が良かった！大昔にここで人が殺しあっていたりしたと思うと怖かったけど、建築物としては昔の人がこんなに大きいものを石を積んで作ったと思ったら、その時の人はどういう生活をしていたのかと考えたりできて面白かった！
We did another walking-around day in Rome. And we finally visited Colosseum! It's free on every first monday of a month and luckily, we went on the day. Obviously, there were a little line up but it wasn't too bad! When I imagined that there were fights to kill each other in the old days at the place and it made me shivered but as an architecture-wise, it was just amazing that the people built Colosseum with such a big stones in the old days... It was fun to imagine and think all that while I was there.
そのあと、トレヴィの泉に行き、スペイン広場でローマの休日を過ごしたよ笑
And we visited Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna to pretend to be in the film "Roman Holiday." lol
オススメのレストラン / Favorite Restaurant：”Florian’s Cafe”
ここは、おいしいイタリア料理が安く食べられて毎晩行ったよ笑 本当にオススメ！
Seriously, this place is the best! We actually went every night lol They have amazing Italian food with good price! Highly recommended!
Day 13
この日は、日本に帰る日だったから昼までテルミニ駅でだらだらしながら空港に向かいました！ローマ時間で夜１０時前の飛行機に乗り、ドーハを経由して日本に着いたのは、日本時間の夜１０時半くらいだったよ！時差ボケが酷くて何日かは寝れない日がつづいたよ。
It was finally the day to leave Europe to Japan. Our flight was at night so we chilled around Termini station and headed to the airport. We took flight from Rome to Doha, and changed the flight to Haneda. I struggled with jet-lag when I came home.
見たかった景色、憧れだった世界が広がっている楽しい旅だった！ヨーロッパ周遊ツアーにしては、とても安く様々なところに行けたと思う。みなさんの旅の参考になるといいな！記事を読んでくれてありがとうございました！
