mental and physical maintenance

Hi, it’s Mio! Today, I would like to share the fatigue and stress that builds up before you can see it.

I thought that my body felt a little bit off since it entered June, but I didn’t think too much of it. It had only been around a month since I started working at my current company, so there were lots of things on my mind and I was a little tense. In addition, it was the time that it had just been decided that I had to plan and present something for the first time. All this busyness made me put myself last.

To be straightforward, I got a vaginal yeast infection. It’s a disease caused by the overgrowth of the fungus candida in the vagina, causing unpleasant symptoms such as itching. I have many friends who have actually gotten it. In my case, it began with pain during sex with my boyfriend. I noticed that I felt the pain that I never feel, but I did not think much of it. Then, the itching started suddenly about two days after. But on weekdays I couldn’t take a day off, I had to go to work that Saturday, and on Sunday the obstetrician-gynecologists’ clinic was closed, so I left it alone. Then, the next week, the itching became unbearable and I left my job in the morning on a weekday and rushed to the obstetrician-gynecologists’ clinic. That was the first time I had ever been to an OB-GYN clinic, and I was so nervous, thinking it was too embarrassing to have to say “I have an itchy crotch!”
